Does SEO Just Get Under Your Skin

Sometimes I read blogs where the blogger in question will go on and on about how great SEO is and how it will solve all of your problems.

Other times I read blog posts where the very same blogger will tell you that you should avoid link building, stay away from it, it will be the end of your website for all time.

So which is true?

seo consistency is keyWhy is it that the same blogger can have two completely different opinions on one topic, and in a very short amount of time? It doesn’t seem right, does it?

I would agree that it’s not right. In fact, it’s plain wrong! That’s just the nature of the internet and marketing though. It’s a never ending cycle of conflicting opinions from people that don’t really matter too much as it turns out.

That’s why I like blogs like SteadyNiche – Brian, who is the blogger there, is consistent and just gives you the cold hard truth about a given topic. There’s never an inconsistency and it is always the same thing, day in and day out.

That’s the kind of blogger that I like – particularly when it comes to SEO.

I hate the guys that always seem to be doing some kind of mystical dance that really makes no sense and for whatever reason, they think that not only is it okay but that they are doing you some kind of favor in the process.

It’s illogical and not my style.

So when looking for SEO adivce, my suggestion would be to take it from someone who stays the course, who is consistent and who doesn’t change their tune with the newest fad or trend. They are typically the guys that have the experience required to do the right stuff, the first time.

Take care :)
